Welcome to ameliajanelondon.com. Our trading name is: Amelia Jane London; the website at: www.ameliajanelondon.com (“Our Site, Site, Website); and the domain name:  ameliajanelondon.com (“We”) all belong to Amelia Jane London Ltd. Amelia Jane London Ltd is a Company incorporated in the United Kingdom under Company Number: 08969652. The registered office address of Amelia Jane London Ltd is 145-157 St John Street, London, England EC1V 4PW. Please note that this is not our returns address, please email us for this, at returns@ameliajanelondon.com.

Amelia Jane London is a clothing and lifestyle brand that offers high quality hats and accessories for sale through the Site (the “Service”). Subscription to the Site is free. By visiting the Site and using the Service you agree to be bound by an agreement with us, which incorporates this General Terms and Conditions, the Acceptable Use Agreement, Privacy Policy and Returns Policy, as though they were incorporated herein, together known as the Amelia Jane London User Service Agreement. If you do not accept these General Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Service.

The Service is made available worldwide. Prices are denoted in UK sterling.  To purchase any goods through the Service you will need to create an account. You create an account by providing your [email address- i.e. joeblogs@hotmail.com] and password. If you are making a purchase you will also need to provide billing and a shipping address. Your email address and password will be used to set up an account for you and will identify you every time you log into the Service. Please make sure you enter a valid email address.

Please print or/and save a downloaded copy of the Agreement on your computer for your reference. The terms of this Agreement may be updated or additional terms may apply, from time to time. Each time you visit the Service please look out for these notices of updates and when you see these read and print or/and save a downloaded copy.

  1. Our Responsibilities

The Service is our responsibility. We accept responsibility for ensuring that items are verified and that  sales and purchases are transacted satisfactorily. 

Product Information

We provide written descriptions containing measurements, availability, condition and colour information where applicable, as well as an accurate photographic representations of our items. Please note that each computer monitor displays colours differently so the colour you see on your screen may not be the exact colour of the item(s) you receive. Pom pom colour, shape and exact size may vary marginally from our product images due to the natural nature of the product.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract. We will always provide fair and honest descriptions of our products. There are codes of conduct that govern misleading actions by traders under regulation 5(3)(b) of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. You can access the legislation here.

PayPal

Payment is accepted through PayPal or by credit/debit card. We are not involved with any of the payment processing and do not hold your financial information. Prices are denoted in £ Sterling.

Delivery

UK

All UK orders will be sent Monday to Friday (except on bank or public holidays).

Standard Delivery (2-4 working days)

In the case of our 2-4 working days standard delivery service, orders will be sent via Royal Mail 48hr tracked mail and a signature will be required upon delivery. Where a customer has provided an email address/mobile phone number as part of their information upon placing an order, these will be used to provide tracking updates on the order status, and will state that your order is coming from EC Group. We aim to dispatch within a maximum of 2 working days of receiving your order. Should you not be in to receive your order, a card will be left at your stated delivery address notifying you of attempted delivery and will advise where you must collect your package from.

Next Working Day Delivery (Order by 1pm)

In the case of  our next working day delivery service, orders will be sent via Interlink Express fully tracked next working day service and a signature will be required upon delivery. Where a customer has provided an email address/mobile phone number as part of their information upon placing an order, these will be used to provide tracking updates on the order status, and will state that your order is coming from EC Group. To qualify for the next working day delivery service, orders must be placed before 1pm. Please note that this service applies to working days only (Monday – Friday) and therefore orders placed on Friday before 1pm will arrive the following Monday. Orders placed over a weekend using the next working day delivery option will be dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Please note that it takes our courier service 2 days to deliver to the Isle of Man, Scilly Isles and the Scottish Highlands/Islands on our Next Day Delivery Service. International

All international orders will be sent via Royal Mail International Post. Your delivery charge will be calculated at the checkout and will appear on the payment screen for you to review before confirming your order. We aim to ship within 2 working days of receiving your order. Orders usually take 7-14 working days to reach you but please allow 30 working days to receive your order.

Please note that if we are not able to ship you order due to international shipping restrictions we shall inform you immediately. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us at info@ameliajanelondon.com.

Undelivered Items

If the product is not delivered after 14 days in the UK or 60 days for international delivery, then we shall assume it has been lost in the post and issue you with a full refund. Please inform us if you have not received your order following the timetable above,at info@ameliajanelondon.com.

My Account Page

We provide a My Account page on which members can view their recent orders, store their billing and shipping information.

The Internet

Our website is available through the Internet and as a consequence we cannot guarantee continuous, error-free or secure access to our services or that defects in the Service will be corrected. While we will use reasonable efforts to maintain an uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee this and we do not give any promises or warranties (whether express or implied) about the availability of our services.

Acceptable Use Agreement

You must use the Service in accordance with the Acceptable Use Agreement.

Fraud Returns

We do not permit returns fraud. You cannot return damaged, worn, washed and/or altered items purchased via the Service. Please see our Returns Policy.

  1. Legal Provisions

3.1           If we have any liability to you arising out of the Service, (whether in contract or tort), our liability shall be limited in all circumstances to the value of the item in respect of which the claim relates.

3.2           Nothing in these terms shall limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our agents or employees.

3.3           These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by English law and by accepting this General terms and Conditions, which incorporates the Acceptable Use Agreement, Privacy Policy and Returns Policy you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

3.5           If you have a dispute relating to the Service then you must first contact us about it at info@ameliajanelondon.com. We will do our best to resolve the issue within 30 days of receiving your query.

3.6           These General Terms and Conditions, our Acceptable Use Agreement, Privacy Policy and our Returns Policy form the entire agreement between the parties.
